Nick van Dam é uma usina de ideias, visionário, consultor e líder em raciocínio. Diretor Global de Aprendizado, Inovações e Soluções de e-Learning da Deloitte, é responsável pelo aprendizado de 165 mil pessoas e consultor para clientes na prática de Human Capital.

Como consultor reconhecido internacionalmente e expoente em e-Learning, van Dam escreveu diversos artigos e foi citado por publicações como: Financial Times, Fortune Magazine, CNBC, Business Week, Managiment Consulting, L&T Innovations Magazine, T+D Magazine, Bizz Magazine, India Times, entre outras.

É colunista da CLO Magazine (EUA) e da Intellectueel Kapitaal Magazine (Holanda), além de autor e coautor de diversos livros, incluindo Organisation & Management, an international approach (1991-2007, edições em holandês e inglês); Business Simulations – Topsim Series (1995); Change Compass, 2001; The e-Learning Fieldbook, 2004 e 2006 (edição em mandarim); The Business Impact of e-Learning, 2005; e 25 Best Practices in Learning & Talent Development, 2008 e a edição em mandarim de 2009).

Atua em diversos comitês consultivos, entre eles o “International Consortium for Executive Development and Research (ICEDR)”, de Lexington, MA/USA, uma aliança global de aprendizado que conta com 40 companhias líderes no mundo e 25 das melhores escolas de negócio. É fundador e chairman da “e-Learning for Kids Foundation” (www.e-learningforkids.org), que fornece cursos baseados em tecnologia (internet e CD-ROM) sem custo para escolas e crianças ao redor do mundo.

Nick van Dam é graduado pela Vrije Universiteit van Amsterdam, bacharel em Economia e Pedagogia e mestre em Organização & Gestão pela Universiteit van Amsterdam. Obteve seu doutorado em Administração de Negócios pela Nyenrode Business University em Breukelen, Holanda (Tema: O impacto do e-Learning nos negócios).


Nick van Dam is an idea generator, visionary, consultant and thought leader.

He is the Global Director Learning, Innovations e-learning Solutions for Deloitte responsible for Learning for 165,000 people, and engagement advisor for clients at Deloitte’s Global Human Capital Practice.

As an internationally recognized consultant and thought leader in e-Learning, Mr. van Dam has written articles and has been quoted by The Financial Times, Fortune Magazine, CNBC, Business Week, Management Consulting, Learning & Training Innovations Magazine, T+D Magazine, Bizz Magazine, and The India Times, among others. He is a columnist for CLO Magazine (US) and Intellectueel Kapitaal Magazine (The Netherlands). He has authored and co-authored a number of books including; Organisation & Management, an international approach (1991-2007 Dutch and English); Business Simulations-Topsim Series (1995); Change Compass, 2001; The e-Learning Fieldbook, 2004 and 2006 (Mandarin Edition), The Business Impact of e-Learning, 2005, and 25 Best Practices in Learning & Talent Development, 2008 and Mandarin edition 2009)

He holds several advisory board positions including among others, The International Consortium for Executive Development and Research (ICEDR), Lexington, MA/USA, a global learning alliance of some 40 of the world’s leading companies and 25 premier business schools.

He is founder and chairman of e-Learning for Kids Foundation, which is a global non-profit foundation (www.e-learningforkids.org) that provides schools and children around the world with free technology-based courseware. (internet and cdrom)

Dr. van Dam is a graduate of the Vrije Universiteit van Amsterdam, Bachelor Degree in Economics and Pedagogy, and holds a Master Degree in Organization & Management from the Universiteit van Amsterdam.
