Antes da Click2learn, Kevin fundou e foi Presidente da Oakes Interactive, empresa estabelecida em Needham, Massachusetts, e reconhecida pela inovação na aplicação de tecnologia ao desenvolvimento de pessoas. A Oakes Interactive foi adquirida em 1997pela Click2learn (na época chamada Asymetrix), empresa que Kevin ajudou a abrir o capital no ano seguinte.

Kevin completou em 2006 seus 5 anos como Chairman do board da American Society of Training & Development (ASTD), considerada a maior associação mundial dedicada ao aprendizado e performance, que conta com mais de 70.000 membros. Kevin foi presidente do ASTD Selection Committee, e também atua no ASTD’s Talent Management Task Force.

Kevin é atualmente Chairman da Jambok, uma empresa de Aprendizado Social criada a partir de uma iniciativa da Sun Microsystems, assim como membro do advisory boar da Intrepid, empresa baseada em Seattle e provedora de soluções terceirizadas de produtividade aplicada ao ambiente de trabalho.

Kevin é autor e palestrante frequente em gerenciamento de talentos e aplicação estratégica do capital humano nas organizações. Ele está lançando um novo livro, chamado An Executive Guide to Integrated Talent Management, que será publicado nos Estados Unidos pela ASTD Press no outono de 2011.

Completing a five-year board term, Kevin was the 2006 Chairman of the American Society of Training & Development (ASTD), which is the largest association in the world dedicated to workplace learning and performance with a global membership of over 70,000 members. Kevin was the 2008 Chair of the ASTD Board Selection Committee, and also serves on ASTD’s Talent Management Task Force.

Kevin is currently the Chairman of Jambok, a social learning start-up company which was founded at Sun Microsystems, as well as an advisory board member of Intrepid, a Seattle-based provider of outsourced workplace productivity solutions. Kevin also serves on the advisory board of Longworth Ventures, a Boston-area venture capital firm.

Kevin is a frequent author and international keynote speaker on talent management and using human capital strategically in organizations. He has a new book, titled An Executive Guide to Integrated Talent Management, which will be published in the spring of 2011 by ASTD Press.

Kevin resides in Medina, Washington with his wife and three children.
